This tool was built to help voters filter and compare the mayoral candidates by issue, or to help look up who's running where you live. Positions are summarized from candidates' CBC Hamilton survey responses, their own campaign sites, and other public statements we could find and is not an exhaustive record of everything a candidate has said. "Not stated" means we didn't find a position on that issue in those sources, not that the candidate has none. Use the selectors below to help filter by issue and narrow down your selections. Happy voting.
Polls open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can vote at any voting location within your ward — your voter notification letter lists nearby options.
Weekend advance polls (Oct. 3–4, 10–11, 17–18) have closed. Ballot-on-demand voting continues at Hamilton City Hall, Oct. 19–23, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., through to the day before Election Day.
Bring one piece of identification showing your name and home address. You don't need your voter notification letter to vote, but it speeds things up.
